Your Practice Brand: Create A Consistent Look And Feel
The lack of a consistent look and feel is perhaps the single biggest mistake made by ODs who design their own educational and advertising pieces.
By that, I mean all your printed materials should have the same border design, font style and general layout, including the position of the logo in each piece.
Try this. Put copies of your recent newspaper announcements, in-office brochures and yellow pages ad side by side.
Do they look like a hodgepodge of advertising design? Not good. A new patient should easily recognize all your marketing pieces as being from the same practice.
Creating a strong brand for your practice is a process, not an event.
The starting point is to develop professional looking materials. Then, present them in a clear, consistent manner.
Best regards,
Jerry Hayes, OD

the process
Having a consistent look is an interesting point. It may be necessary to tweak the look as time goes on to find a style that works for you. I have 3 fonts that I use in all my marketing pieces. Thanks for the advice.
