Congratulations To Dr. Martha Greenberg, OD Of The South!

Hats off to my good friend and fellow SCO grad Martha Greenberg of Russellville, Alabama! She was named 'OD of the South' at the annual SECO meeting in Atlanta this past weekend.

Martha has some of the deepest optometric roots you will find anywhere. She is the daughter of an OD, the recently deceased Fred Rosemore. She was married to an OD and has two children who are optometrists.

I had the pleasure of serving with Dr. Greenberg on the SCO Board of Trustees and know firsthand what a positive force she is.

Like other ODs who have received this recognition before her, Martha is a tireless worker for the advancement of optometry and the betterment of our profession.

Beyond that, Martha has set an example and helped blaze the trail for more women to take leadership roles in organized optometry.

My congratulations to Dr. Greenberg for an honor well deserved!
